The Defender Wellness Project

Dear Defender Community: After the recent death of our beloved colleague, Ben Smith, NMCDLA has offered to provide two free 30-minute follow-up counseling sessions for NMCDLA members. The focus of these sessions is specifically designed to help individuals process this tragedy, including exploring feelings related to surviving suicide, and strategies for self-care.

Clients are being referred to Linda Myers and Sheila Ciminera. NMCDLA members may contact these counselors at will to arrange an appointment.
