Advocacy Tips

NMCDLA has a strong presence at the Legislature both during session and during the interim. We educate members and advocate on criminal bills and funding for criminal justice resources. We support policies that reform the system to be more effective, equitable, and fiscally responsible while ensuring that defendants receive due process, fair treatment, and adequate representation. Use the links on this page to recommend bills and to become more involved in the legislative process.
